After water damage from a bathroom leak caused part of the ceiling to collapse, I removed the damaged plasterboard and allowed the area to fully dry. Once the pipework had been repaired by others, I replaced the affected section of ceiling with new plasterboard, ensuring it was securely fixed to the joists. I then applied a fresh skim coat of plaster across the repaired area, blending it seamlessly into the existing ceiling. The room is now ready for decorating and refitting the ceiling lights.
